Into the Archives – Building 75

14th December 2015

A site as old and with the level of historical significance as the Humber Enterprise Park also has a large photographic archive.  Over the many years these images have been reproduced and this week we have uncovered a picture from the 1980’s showing office life, pre-Microsoft.

The wider column detail on the left hand side of the image has allowed us to position this image following recent demolition works.

Also it is worth noting the single BBC computer covering the entire office.  Todays modern business has become so reliant upon the PC but it is amazing to think that the pen was replaced by the keyboard and the bakalite phone by the email.
