Leases are signed and the Humber Enterprise Park are awaiting final confirmation from our lawyers prior to announcing the new tenant who is taking building 22 (B-Shed).
Our estate manager, Mr Peter Melling recently visited the building to undertake a final inspection and took the video that has been embedded below.
Peter has a long history with the site, Joining British Aerospace as a 16 year old craft apprentice in September 1993. Peter takes up the story .one of the first things the trainers did was to take us on a visit around the factory including building 22. As we walked in, we were confronted with production lines of Hawk fuselages and Hawk wings; as 16 year olds we were in awe. Whilst it is very sad to see the shed now empty, the pending new tenancy will breathe life back into it and start a new stage of its life.
The HEP management hope to announce the new tenant in the next few days.
