RICS Awards 2017 – HEP Pipped to the Post
On a warm spring evening in Leeds, a delegation from the Humber Enterprise Park descended upon the Centenary Pavilion at Leeds Football Club to attend the 2017 RICS Awards, Yorkshire & Humber.
Over 35 of Yorkshire and Humber’s most impressive and community beneficial property schemes battled it out for top honours this years Awards. Hosted by the TV presenter Melissa Porter, best known for her BBC programmes ‘To Buy or Not to Buy’ and ‘Escape to the Country’, the evening was a resounding success for orgsanisers and attendees alike.
The Humber Enterprise Park was honoured to have been shortlisted in the regeneration category, and whilst unfortunately we didn’t win the award, being pipped to the post by the extremely worthy Fox Valley in Sheffield, the night was a real showcase for Yorkshire’s booming property industry.
Fox Valley is a unique development, the team having transformed a 28 acre former steelworks site into a new bustling town centre in North Sheffield, whilst still managing to maintain the area’s rich industrial heritage.
Jeff Carson from LRE Capital said “what an honour to be nominated and being able to attend such a wonderful event. Our thanks go to the organisers for making this a special night”.
For more information on other wins you can see them on the RICS Awards, Yorkshire & Humber Website.
