Stead Engineering – a CAT do attitude

Recently, local company Stead Engineering have been contracted by the Humber Enterprise Park to design and manufacture (to the correct British Standards), and then install a CAT Access Ladder to the side of building 56. Recent projects have resulted in the requirement for a faster, more cost effective way of accessing both the flat roof of Building 55 and 56, as well as being able to step up (harnessing onto the man safe systems) onto the roof on the adjacent Shed, Building 54 (C-Shed).

The team offered a friendly and professional service from the inception of the process through to the delivery and handover.  Stead have just undertaken similar works to our tenants BAE Systems buildings, and we are particularly impressed with the finished product.

Our estate manager Peter Melling said “we have worked with Stead Engineering on a few projects and each time I have found their installation teams to be knowledgeable, follow safe working practises and be professional in their approach to their craft”.
