Tenant Spotlight – BAE Systems Centenary Recognition Event

2016 marks 100 years of our Brough site.  As part of the centenary celebrations a Brough Site Recognition Evening was held earlier this month.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to recognise the outstanding contribution that so many of our Brough employees make.  130 employees and service providers who work on site were nominated by their colleagues and the Brough Management Team to attend this year’s event which was hosted by Site Director Dave Corfield.

Every nomination was different, with reasons ranging from supporting the customer and achieving qualification to working away at other sites, supporting young people and delivering continuous high quality work.

It was a great evening of entertainment with a magician, caricaturist, comedian and disco, creating a relaxed atmosphere for these worthy candidates who put themselves out and go the extra mile, and demonstrate what a passionate, dedicated and capable workforce we have.

Dave Corfield, Head of Hawk India & Brough Site Director, said:  “It was fantastic to spend the evening hearing the stories behind the nominations and getting to meet the fantastic people who make Brough such a great place to work.  There were plenty of inspiring stories of our employees going the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service or to support their colleagues across a whole range of activities.  This year we celebrate 100 years of the Brough site and this awards evening was one of a number of special events we have planned to mark the centenary year.”
