Tenant Spotlight – BAE Systems Partner Charity Support
Through their Community Investment programme, BAE Systems operates a charity scheme called “together!” whereby employees raise funds and volunteer their time for their chosen partner charity. The Company has adopted a new charity for this year – the Hull Children’s University, which provides young people with invaluable learning experiences aimed at raising their future aspirations and ambitions.
Although open to all, the Children’s University aims particularly to reach children and young people facing socio-economic and educational disadvantage. Since launching their partner charity relationship, employees have raised almost 700 through a doughnut sale and Wacky Wardrobe Day.
