Fit February challenge at Humber Enterprise Park

31st January 2018
Workers from businesses at our site are being encouraged to complete a ‘Fit February’ challenge on our new running track.

The one-mile track is the latest of a number of shared social spaces, which include a gym and eating areas. There is also a board located next to the track where runners can record their time and distance in a bid to encourage healthy competition among our tenants.

And as an added incentive to mark the track’s opening, Humber Enterprise Park owners Citivale are offering a free pair of top-quality running shoes to the person who completes the most miles this month (February).

James Appleton-Metcalfe, managing director of Citivale, said: “Humber Enterprise Park benefits from a beautiful location on the banks of the River Humber and the track offers a pleasant place to go for a run.

“It’s a great way for the park’s tenants to get out of the offices and industrial units and enjoy some fresh air and exercise while they are at work.

“Creating the track is also just one small part of our commitment to make the park an attractive and vibrant place to do business.”

After being acquired by Citivale, the park has undergone extensive modernisation and is now home to a wide range of businesses, including retail software solutions firm ITIM and historic Hull company, Shipham Valves, now part of Finnish firm Wrtsil.
