As reported in Aviation Spotters Online: BAE Systems Australia has congratulated the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) on achieving 100,000 flying hours for its Hawk 127 Lead-In Fighter fleet.
Manufactured at the Brough based BAE Systems site in East Yorkshire located at the Humber Enteprise Park, the 33 aircraft fleet first entered into active services in 2001. Since this date, the in country BAE Systems Autralia teams have provided in service support.
Based at the RAAF bases in both Williamtown and Pearce, these airtcarft provide the Australian AIrforce with fast jet training. BAE Systems Australia has congratulated the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) on achieving 100,000 flying hours for its Hawk 127 Lead-In Fighter fleet.
