Spray Creative – 2nd Mural Takes Shape at the HEP
The Humber Enterprise Park have once again teamed up with the team at Spray Creative as part of the decoration to the North elevation of B-Shed (Building 22).
The Spray Creative team were this time tasked with creating a mural that helped to represent the community feel of the Humber Enterprise Park.
Painted as part of the visit to the HEP of HRH The Duke of York as part of the grand opening event on the 30th March, the completed piece depicts all walks of life both using and enjoying the Enterprise Park here in Brough.
Spray Creative are a collective of local graffiti artists, mural painters and urban decorators. The group of friends and like-minded graffiti artists first came together sharing a joint love of all things spray paint related and their central aim to push the idea of more colour and urban decoration both in the city of Hull and its surrounding areas. Each member of Spray Creative helps to offer a different style and outlook to the collective and the team have been used for many of the recent Hull 2017 City of Culture artworks.
The team have already created one bespoke and eye-catching mural at the site, which focuses on the BAE history of the site and depicts Robert Blackburn and the aerospace history of the site. The colourful murals also help to boost the modern feel of the recently developed site.
Estate Manager Peter Melling said: “We feel that supporting businesses such as Spray Creative is fantastic for the site, and we have a real talking point in the mural that has been commissioned”.
Massive thanks to the team at Spray Creative! We’d love to see your images of the murals around the site – to share them with us simply post them on Facebook or Twitter tagging @HEPBrough
